The Story
The first Hoyo de Monterrey to join the Limited Edition series since 2013 when the Grand Epicure was released, the Monterreyes No. 4 wears the 2021 Limited Edition band. Delayed from 2021, the Monterreyes No.4 is a Maravillas No.4 size 5 ¾” (145mm) x 55 ring gauge and is entirely new to the Habanos portfolio.
As with all Edición Limitadas since 2007, the tobacco used to make this cigar has been aged for a minimum of two years. This helps to create a more rounded and approachable flavour profile. The darker wrapper also provides a hint of sweetness that works exceptionally well with Hoyo de Monterrey’s distinct light flavoured blend.
These cigars are presented in a varnished Slide Lid Box of ten and have been made entirely by hand using long filler tobaccos sourced from Vuelta Abajo in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba.
